About Matt & Messenger Hymns

Matt Boswell has been leading music and writing music for the church since 1995. As a worship pastor, Matt has a passion for providing the church with hymns that are biblically faithful, theologically rich, and gospel centered.

In 2012 Matt released Messenger Hymns Volume 1, and has since released two other editions to the Messenger Hymns catalog. Messenger Hymns Volume 2 released in 2015, and Messenger Hymns Advent released in 2016.

Matt is the Pastor of Ministries and Worship at Providence Church in Frisco, TX, a graduate of Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, and the Founder of Doxology & Theology. He is head over heels for his bride, Jamie, and they are the proud parents of four wonderful children.
